Also in my search I found that a crate motor from a dealership will cost about $2500. This does not require a core deposit and includes a front cover, which I have found most companies don't include. I think I have decided to save for one of those after I put in one of the motors I've found cheap. I can always rebuild the cheap one for performance after I put the new motor in, or sell it cheap to someone in need. I will at least have my car on the road. I think if I get this car going I'm going to name it Lazarus

In the next week or two, I hope, on the cheap one. I'm actually have a "picker" at my in-laws and I will by a stand down the road a little. I even have an great air compressor for pneumatics there, table grinder, band saw, table saw, drill press, ramps, all kinds of fun stuff. I wish I could have it all here in the apartment :(

I'll only use them as long as I need them, or at least only while I'm actually doing the work. I'll have to go to Eugene to do the work anyway so you're in route.
