Default Looking at a 95 SSE

ok... I found a 1995 SSE. Basically it looks like Haro'* car, but is an SSE. All options but sunroof. If it had the roof, I would have been all over it. It has 65k on it, carfax checks out, and it is only 15 minutes from me. The dealer is asking $5995 for it. Does this seem like a good pirice for it? Personnally I think it is a little high, but what does everyone else think? Also, how hard would it be to put a stock Bonneville sunroof into it? Only reason I am considering it is because I am looking for a loaded 1995 SSE and this fits the bill.

you really couldnt put a Bonne sunroof in it, but you could make it look real close if you got the headliner and the overhead console from a car that had the headliner....you are looking at $$$$ for outting in a power roof though,

that is low miles for that year!!!

I would hit it

If you really need a moonroof get a factory one, however i would give that up for that car/milage, etc.

Offer close to $6k and see what you can get. Waiting till the end of the month helps with their quotas too.

Yea... I really don't want to buy anything without a sunroof... unless it is 4x4... that would make it ok. I was kinda hoping that I could possibly add a factory one if I got all the components and then had a bode shop cut the hole. I have the 93 SSEi to use as a template. I was thinking of offering the guy $4900 just to see what he'd take. I know this is a lowball offer, but for anything more, it better have the roof.

power sunroofs can be installed on a car for about 700-1000$, depending where you go. That does seem like a high price for that car.

now I did a kbb.com price check on my 95 SSEi WITH a sunroof (but my car has 114k) and it says its worth $4500 so I would think a lesser model w/o a sunroof but with half the miles would sell for around 5-5500

I have been looking 8 months now for a black 92-95 SSEi in good (really perfect) condition at a price not too crazy.
