Look what I parked next to.
Dude, that thing is pimp. I just saw one yesterday at a garage that was in sad shape, and I was thinking it would make a nice project. Then I remebered that I can barely keep mine running, so...But it'* nice to dream!
That'* like my 1978 Bonnie, but mine was a 2-door with no vinyl roof. It'* still running out there somewhere, because I took great care of it. During my ownership it got an engine swap, then in later years I completely rebuilt that engine, the carburetor had been rebuilt once, and the tranny had been rebuilt twice. There were about a dozen different engines that could go in them. I had the Buick 350 engine, which was easy to work on and very reliable. I miss it a little bit.
Those 80'* cars weigh less then the newer ones..
They drive alright too, I had the chance to drive an ex-moderator'* 83 or 86 @ the original Bonniefest, was much better then i expected. Couldn't take it on the track cuz the window wouldn't roll up however.

That looks like 78-79 vintage Bonneville, those were really nice cars back then. I remember the Bonneville Parisienne was top of the line. They had rear fender skirts too. What'dya think our cars will look like in 27 years?

when I was in grade school we lived next door to a pontiac salesman. His wife had a powder blue bonnie just like that. It was brand new. I always liked the tail lights. I graduated highschool in 82, so that has to be late 70'*...WOW, I live That 70'* Show.
