They arrived!! And they are B-E-A-Utiful They still have machining dust on them and appear to have never seen the outside of the box. I'm one happy camper!

JimmyFloyd mentioned to me that there are two shades of gold used on these rims. Did the gold look the same as your other set?

yeah, I read the earlier ones were a different shade and I remember that being the case when I had my black 93 SSE. the golds that came on it were darker then the 99 golds I got for a summer set. It is just a shade difference that is noticable when they are next to eachother.

I thought these things looked a lot ligher....no wonder. I haven't had a chance to see them in the daylight yet, but yeah they're the lighter shade. I don't know what to think about this...mom always said my rims were too dark....maybe i'll learn to like the new shade.

LOL. Are you guys sure the wheels don't just "yellow" over time? That'* what i thought when i saw 99 bonnevilles with lighter ghettos than mine.
