I don't see any lugs in those pics...but I see wheel studs. And they look good. I bet the wheel bearing(*) were replaced. Those look almost new. But then again, there really is no rust on the car besides some normal surface rust in typical areas.

What I told Ryan was I had the passenger front off to do the fender swap, and the brakes looked good there. Working as much as I do on the side with my mechanic buddy, when a car sits...the rotors rust and the first few miles are cleaning off the rust. They feel about the same. At the same time.. there was some seepage from the master cylinder. I had Ryan clean this and told him to keep an eye on it. The fluid didn't appear low.
Now..neither of us expected he'd be on those brakes very long and it'* obvious that we thought they'd hold up longer than they did. Ryan... keep an eye on the dust on the wheels. I fear you may have a driverside caliper freezing up.
Meanwhile.. glad to hear it isn't the master cylinder and that it'* good after a brake swap

yea. thats worrying me also. the drive side caliper was a little harder to get pushed back in. either its fron it being out like all the way or its going bad.
Im going to clean both wheels when i get home and watch the dust.
They do feel a lot better now though.

Ouch...
Next time you have to do Rotors try the Raybestos Advanced Technology.
They are coated on the non braking surfaces so the stay cooler and don't rust. Also carry a 1 year warranty.
