The most ridiculous and damaging thing you can do to your engine is to free rev it like that. Reving it cold is like pouring salt in a gashing wound.

In my opinion, the rev limiter should be set at 2,000 RPMs. There'* never a reason to rev an engine higher than that.

What purpose would you want to remove the limiter for? It is there to help your car live longer.

Its not that im not listening its just that i dont like it there
and any way my engine is not complete stock.
also like i said before it makes my two FLOWMASTERS sound bad when they get cut off at 4000 RPM'*
one last thing i never rev when my engine is cold i know its a bad thing to do and stuped.

well when i bought the car soon after i blew the engine big time: so i went and try to buy and ssei engine but they didnt have any so i bought the sle i got my dads friend wich is a mechanic but also does some stuff to engines anyway the day he came over to install the engine he said yo Chris that engine has a lot of potential and im like ok what can you do to it. so he bored it out to 40 inches or something not shure (back then i didnt know the first dam thing abaut cars know i do though) and i belive he messed with the computer and the exhaust wich you seen in some of the pics(the exhaust) and some other small things. i mean you really cant see none of it unless i open the engine up other than that it lookes stock but its not. also that car drinks gas like if it was water.

i dont think the bore could be inches, and he would have to re-program the computer? Did he get an aftermarket one?
