I'm looking at a GT1 cam and a ported LIM.

Still mulling over a 4T65-E transmission upgrade… depends on if I see metal in the pan or not.

I got some ported and polished heads with $700 in valve work and stock rockers (that might change) and #105 springs sitting in my basement

Looking for a set of headers, might just go with the ebay chrome ones while I have the motor out

Getting the trans refreshed and beefing it up with the HD upgrade

Im not sure those firebird wheels will fit the bonne, I tried putting my wheels on my 95 lt1 camaro and they didnt fit, never tried camaro on bonne tho... front ones fit, rear spindle was too large on camaro

I'm pretty sure the wheels will fit, but I'm not 100% sure. My 1980 Bonneville is RWD and has 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The same as my 1991 Firebird. Backspacing should be fine and the rims are 15"x7". They rims are Eagle Alloys 211 (Torq Thrust look a like).

Look at drag bags, better then drag radials for traction.

Depends...if there'* enough weight transfer, yes. But a sticky set of regular tires and less weight transfer will outperform a DR all day.

Ordered $350 in LED'* last night and ......forgot two.

yea idk if the drag bags will work as the rear suspension is the McPherson style strut on w-bodys ik they make spring blockers and people do something where they cable the rear suspension up. another reason for the drag radials is because i need at least 2 tires anyway haha. but i def agree weight transfer is important for traction

I have DR on my car. Only slightly more traction, and they wear really fast. Also being such a flat surface they catch every crack and pull the car around.
