Default List of Grievances

I bought my car in 2000 from a guy down the street. No wonder it sat in his yard for a month in this condition....

-large paint brush crusted in white paint to the rear floormat
-coffee stains on 25% of driver'* side mat and floor
-non-funtional sunroof
-$3 in change strewn about the car
-cracked headlight
-windshield covered in scratches from an ice scraper
-busted rear bumper
-busted front plastic curb guard
-power antenna stuck half way up and bent
-leaking left rear door
-part of last christmas'* tree in the trunk (pine needles and bark)
-attempted wax job with much of the wax still left on the car
-engine oil black as soot with no maintenance records
-no tread on front tires and 35% on the rear

My dad and I spent a month going over the car, and i'm happy to say we fixed everything but the darn windshield. Steel icescrapers should be illegal.

Also the driver information panel didn't work until we fixed the sunroof. go figure.

Man, I hope you didn't pay too much. That guy doesn't seem to give a damn about his cars.

Must look nice with that color scheme. Pete, have you thought about this? Are they even legal in NY?

At least, aside from maybe the oil and windshield, a lot of the problems on the list are relatively superficial...if annoying...

Makes me sick to see a car treated like that...check this site www.carsinbarns.com

some of those are pretty sad indeed
