So I did my LIM gaskets today. Street Wars is next sunday so I figured it would be a good time to do them. Well well well I knew they were going to be bad but not this bad. GM fail

Remember how I said they'd look horrible? You didn't have any symptoms of them looking bad or being bad.

I'd bet you still have all the knock you had before. That'* the thing with LIM'* ... do we ever really hear of them putting a lot of coolant into the engine or causing a large issue? Nope. We see them as being horrible and we swap them, but they are never really a cause of big problems overall.

I've never seen one do more then seap, and even then it'* not enough to worry about. Don't let the fear mongers tell you different.

I can only assume they are OEM so 165K.

As for the knock I knew the lim'* wouldn't have helped just a hope and a dream ha. I changed them because I knew they were going to be terrifying.. Right now I'm having a set of 36 and 67 injectors cleaned and checked. Then I'll swap in the 36'* and see how that fairs.
