Lifetime?

You still want to be driving on the ground when everyone else has a flying car?

I would say only if you rarely drive it and keep it garaged. Newer cars won't become collectible for the most part, so you won't have any luck finding replacement parts if plastics fade and interior gets ripped.

SSEBonne4evr I hope.
Who wants one of those aluminum engine, rubber timing belt cars that the bumper falls off when tapped lightly.
Not me.
If we could only figure out better mileage through mods it would help to keep the car as long as you want.

While we are on the subject of cars lasting forever. What is going to happen when gas is banned to the billions of internal combustion engines on the planet? Hydrogen conversion perhaps?

YES!!!! I would love that!

I never want to have to buy another car either. It'* nice not having a car payment.

All I can suggest (and hope for) is regular maintenance, and fixing little problems before they get a chance to become big problems

10 years with one car is my limit.

I envy you. Living in the Rust Belt its hard to find a car without at least a little bit of rust underneath.
