I've seen posts here where people have over 200,000 miles on thier cars! I don't have any hard data though.
I'll bet willwren or fuddyduddy will be able to give you some sort of real stats.

Jseabert'* trans failed big-time at 181,000. But that was because of his driving style. It probably would have seen 200k. I don't think you can kill the motor, but you CAN kill you tranny depending on how you drive.

my 1986 Buick Park Avenue has 408,000 miles on the original 3.8L, runs alright with a slight knock, also it leaks like hell lol, the transmisson bangs into gears some times....it also leaks lol...im selling it tho...
I have 204,000 K on mine and still going strong! (Tranny however is leaking a bit....won't go away....leaves a little puddle on garage floor...grrrr any advice?)
Ran into a guy at the pumps one day with a 88 SE. He had 331,000K on his
and was still purrin' away
Is not unheard of to go in excess of 300K. with proper maintenance.

Thats what I'm hoping for. Interestingly enough. My dash cluster died at 185 000 km. I replaced it with a used cluster from a 88 SE, it had 322 670 or so clicks on the ticker. Not bad....
All I really want is another 50 K out of that engine, then Jr can have it
