I'll throw out a crazy idea... start a new thread and have people give ideas on what they think would be good to change and good to stay the same(other then the name).Make it like a focus group.compile a list from using the feed back you get from all the people(and I do realize that there would be conflicting ideas...but you would just have to use the most popular one or make the conflited one'* into a poll and have the masses settle it.when a list is compiled writen and agreed apoon by every one, then raise some money (this is where the crazy part comes in) contact an designer like Chip Foose (I use him as an example because he is the best known and highly respected desinger out there)pay the mane the make a few of his famous renderings using the ideas that we all come up with (I have heard he does do that for a fee...but im not Sure) take those renderings and send them to GM explaining where all the details and ideas came from and who did the final desing. If you where to get all of that succsessfully done I dont think GM would ignore use or the bonneville name.dont for get all the designing Chip has done for GM (the two Caddys for example http://www.chipfoose.com/profile2b.aspx ) Infact they would then have a new angle to use for marketing that would catch everyones attention and bring new life to this dieing name...."THE ALL NEW FOOSES DESIGNED! CUSTIMER INSPIERD! 50th ANNIVERSARY 2007 PONTIAC BONNEVILLE!" think about it every body know who Chip is...anyone with a tv that is and it would be a good foot in the door to pull in buyers not only that but im sure it would look like a million bucks to
