Has anyone here taken apart a L67 tb? Wanting to powdercoat mine and I'm stuck on removing the throttle blade shaft.

I've done several. Once the plate is off, spray carp cleaner on the shaft real good, carbon is hanging up on the bushings. turn it back and forth with lots of cleaner and pull and push. It will slowly work it'* way out. Remember, lots of cleaner.

The only thing that holds it in is the throttle plate, and it comes on from where the TPS is connected.

Powder coating the TB. Nice touch. Why do I think about using a crinkle finish and then it would be "cooler to the touch". :-p
