the guys I was buying a used engine from had a used l67 off an impala, I was just curious how doable that swap would've been for the bonnie.

the basic Engine is the same, most of the mounts and possible the accessory brackets will be different

its doable.....there are enough ppl on this forum that have parts to make it work in your car....

NOW you will need a HD trans, PCM and wireharness From a SC Bonne to complete the swap

I think the rear exhaust manifold will be different.

anyone have any info on going from a 3400 in a 2002 chevy impala to a 3800 my engine is done in my impala its cooked so if i can get a 2001 to 2003 pontiac or buick or monty carlo i kno all need the computer and the wireing harness for the computer will it all plug in and i know i need the transmission from a gpt and a rad and drive axals and fule pump now what more do i need to do to make it work right when i do it the engine should mount up with out moding anyone have full info and pics of the swap or video
