the changes that have been made over the years have focused on the material of the lower intake EGR stovepipe... read up on it in the 92-99 section... do a search for posts by mkaake in that area, and its something to the effect of 'upper intake failure information'

lots o good information, from gm (though don't take it as an official word from GM).

our "97 had it fail at 131k, so we will have to wait and see.
