Default L36 in an 88

While talking to my father last night, He told me about a guy he works with that has 88 SE bonneville which the motor has rod knock. He took it to his mechanic and the mechanic told him he could replace the motor for him. The mechinic (I think) got a 98 SSE motor to swap in it and said it would work. I informed my dad of the issues that would arise from this, so he is going to talk to the guy today since the car went in late last week. I will find out what comes out of it. If this motor doesn't work, he might be in the market for an LN3 *looks east* .

I'll know more when I talk to my father

The east looks west and thinks a trip could be in order.
