as for the wife or Gf comment just make sure if you get one she doesn't feed the bug by offering to buy new toys. or tell you to do what you want to her car and she will pay

Yeah my ex-gf used to say crap like that all the time. She used to go on about how I loved my car more than her, and spent more time with it than her yada yada.

Notice I still have the car, and no longer have the gf but for other reasons I swear!

well, the results are in, my kit was delivered about 2 hours ago, and its already installed and gone through the first test drive.

Hat'* off to Intense and UPS for quick deliver, i think i ordered in Wednesday night, and got it today already.

As for what i think of it, wow! That whine is so loud!!!! Its going to take some getting used to that for sure, but it definetely adds power. I had to see how much rubber i could lay..(i know i know easy on the tires..haha) and it was most certainly the longest black mark I've made with the car, and its 85* here today! I sounds like something is wrong with my car when i first started it up, but once it was warmed up it was fine, im assuming that normal right?

Anyway, I would have to say im pretty impressed with it. Thanks Intense!

yeah that sound you hear is normal, at time people will think theres something wrong with your car. I still get people asking whats wrong with my car, then i just hit the gas and it calms down.

Glad you like it, should see a small increase in gas mileage too.

The sound you hear is the IAC (Idle Air Controller). You will hear it when the motor is cold/cool can be pretty noisy without the baffling of the stock air box.

It does cause some to wonder what'* up with the noise. My neighbor, who used to be a car guy (helped build race engines) came running up to me once when I started up, telling me I had better get that fixed. He hasn't done much since the carb. days, but once I showed him why, he was intrigued. Of course, then he told me that I should get some headers.
