Default Just a Gen question about S2 LIM & UIM

So my Other Brother that not on the Forms got a 2002 Buick Regal.

Now what year did they fix the LIM and UIM problem, was it in 03 or 04?

Or was it fixed in 02?

He has 38K or something on it now, just that i want to watch it for him and do it before it goes if his is still in one of the years that it happens :?

-Thanks
