What'* an 00 supercharger? The only difference between a 96 and 97 would be the trans. And I'd personally prefer the 4T60 you have unless you're planning on some heavy modding.

Another thought.....what made you realize you have a 96 instead of the 97 you bought?

I forgot all about the transmission. I kinda figured that when I saw OD D 2 1 instead of the newer D321 shift and the shifting is smooth but it still ahs the 92-95 feel. Not the 97-99 feel. The shifting is quicker with the nwere transmissions. 3rd to fourth gear changes at 37-40mph. in the newer models i think it changes like around 35mph, something like that.

The M90 is the supercharger. What do you want to know about it? And alot of 97 SSEi'* were built in 96. My 93 was built in November of 92. They start building them for the new model year at the end of the previous year.

I guess I was wondering if all the problems are worked out. I mean the car has 171K on it. So i guess for the most part that the minor stuff has been fixed.

There are no issues with the M90. Forced Induction would be good reading for you.
