I have a small teensyweesy favor to ask you guys (Pat and Peter) next time you go back to the junkyard where that Aurora and the 40th was, could you guys take pictures of the Bonnes and the Aurora for us. I'm curious to see them.

Any pontiac radio of the same vintage (1995-2002 in 1.5 DIN) will have the bulb. It'* simple but you will need a small screw flat screw driver or needle nose pliers to get the bulb out. A flat screw driver is all you need to take the face off.

I'm sure there was something on the 40th I could use but until I get my 99 from the body shop in two weeks I will not know for sure.

Actually I do know what I need - I need the AC line that goes from the compressor to the condensor.
Als need the drier/accumulator, but for the $$ I will buy a new one like is mandatory.

actually the 7 band tape player that Pete had the display didnt work in the CD player, it was totally different

Go out and total some, either get a beater and just smash them up or vandalize them and hope they end up at the yard near you. Atleast thats what we do.

Martin, the bulb wasn't the problem unfortunately. After trying to swap displays (and soon realizing they weren't the same display) I took both bulbs out and saw they were fine. I switched them anyway, and the display still does not work. I'll need a whole new display circuit board from another one.

actually, unless anyone has a front wheel bearing/hub/studs/abs sensor/flux capacitor/swiss army knife they want to sell thats in good shape, im good for now. thanks for asking though, ill keep you guys in mind though.
