ECC no longer flashes! (Update 9-05)
Well, ever since I bought my '92, it would run past 200* even with the 180* thermo, and the ECC display would flash. Well, today I noticed that my "High speed fans" for the AC weren't so fast. I KNEW it wasn't right, as it seemed it was defaulting to the low speed relay, so I proceeded to switch the low speed relay and put it on the high speed connection. Well sure enough, reached in, fired it up, flipped the ECC on, and flipped the redneck AC switch on, and BAM! I got high speed fans, also another odd thing, the ECC was no longer flashing, AND now my temp stays near a solid 180-185* now according to the gauge. The other fan relay that was dead is on order, so I will have a low speed for the fan again. Crazy how one little relay could cause such a fuss. At least I can rip that stupid redneck AC switch out now.

Yup!
But I must have gotten too excited to notice that night that the ECC is still flashing. I guess I will check the freon level of the AC, it may be low.

Glad you got the fans working properly. Though with my 180 I still got above 200*, which is normal. Though even in 90* temps while running on the highway it would take forever for the coolant temps to go down below 200. I drilled my t-stat the next weekend and so far things are much better. I may drill another hole though, and switch to the INTENSE thermostat.
