So I scored the dealer brochure for the 01 Bonneville that focuses on the Bonne showing all three models. This is quite the score as most of the ones I've seen have been 00 or 02. Anyway, I notice every Bonne shown with swoopies has the lug center cap and not the gear cap, yet you usually see the gear center cap on most cars. Makes me wonder if the other caps didn't sell well.

I wouldn't say it is what sold as much as what Pontiac used the most.

are you sure your car came with the gear/carbon fiber caps stock?

I'm 99% sure they were only offered in 00, and the all chrome ones were available in 01
