Depends on your age and insurance company. Just go get a quote and look! I've noticed some companies don't even care.

When I first got my Bonneville it was almost 2 years ago & I was 18. I was paying for full coverage and that cost me almost $200 a/month. Now I'm 20 and have 1 ticket that my insurance company (Progressive) cares about and it will be off my record in a few months but now I'm paying about $150 a/month. Still not cheap but it is coming down.

Same thing in Alberta. I was told the SE/SLE were the same premium but the SSEi (in '02) and now the GXP are higher. They say cost to repair, along with being a higher performance car are two of many factors. Even the city one lives in, which thinking about it now makes sense.

I just went from my 95 SE to my 01 SSEi. I have State Farm and my insurance went up $98 every 6 months.... When I was shopping for the 95 I was also looking for at a 96 SSEi. The insurance was almost the same.

One other thing, before I bought my SSEi I looked at the same year GTP. It was $180 every 6 months for the GP. The SSEi insurance was $20 less for 6 months.
