Default Insur Adjuster just totalled 96 Bon, What will they pay?

Hi, A Farmers insurance adjuster just left here. My girlfriend was rearended driving my 96 SE. It was in very nice shape no rust texas car perfect paint, 102K, leather, digital temp , alloy wheels. They said they will notify me within 48 hrs of the settlement figure and buyback amount. I am going to fix it myself, I have the technology . Anyone know what bluebook would be and what do you think they will try to pay and want for buyback? From 40 feet away it looks fine but up close its tweeked. Thanks, Dave

You 'll get the avg of something like the 7 lowest priced comparable models, minus the buyback if you decide to keep it, plus maybe another $300 for pain and suffering (as long as you said something like 'your neck is still sore' when they called to check up on you)

Almost former GF? Anyways Do you have a loan on it right now? See what they will give you and I know sometimes you can deny the claim and see if they up the settlement.

You needant have been driving to get that Pain & Suffering and you didn't mention if you were in the car or not. They like to be extra nice to prevent lawsuits.

I wish the best for your almost-former GF.

Hi, Thanks, she is feeling a lot better nothing was broken but her back and neck were very sore but improving. The Ins lady from farmers called today and they want to give me $2944 for the car and $475 for loss of use as we did not take a rental car from them. They want $700 for buyback on the car. They said the amount was lowered due to a previous scrape on the front fender. From what some of you have said you got it sounds like they are trying to screw me . Or the going prices on these cars around here is very low. It sucks because this car was in super nice shape, not a speck of rust top or bottom. Either way im going to buy it back and fix it myself, my friend wants to get a different car so thats fine I will keep the Bon and drive it . It gets over twice the mileage that my full size chevy truck gets. Anyone know how to make them give me a little more $ for the car? Thanks, Dave

I got hailed on last fall with my '95 SSE with 144,xxx, damage was looking to be at least $3k maybe even $4k. Adjuster gave me $1500 and I got to keep the car. Only thing completely necessary was to replace the windshield.
