You little bitch. I just handed over 6 spare S2 L67 injectors.

You're grounded.

Chris (FIE) and I had a good talk anyway. I had a calibrated load cell set up to measure stock S1 L67 valvesprings. He saw my melted injector. We talked a bit about my winter mods.

Just don't forget the hp and efficiency gains possible by matching those injectors. You have 6 of them (last time I counted) and only one O2 sensor. Think about that.

I can't wait to get these sent out and matched!

A good matched set goes for $150ish?

2% sets go for $200 at SeriesOnePerformance.

You'll PROBABLY hit 1% or better with the pool we have set up. Not bad pricing, eh?

And these are professionally cleaned, new filters, and matched OEM injectors.

Each injector has a certain tolerance of flow built in, the tolerance can be pretty wide spread.

By having that inaccuracy in your engine it will run, it will run fast in many cases. However if you match the injectors flow rates, you are removing one more inconsistency that holds you back and creates a slight variation that the pcm has to correct for by taking other measures.

This is similar to the inlet on your supercharger.. while looking like poor quality control and bad machining, it passed the quality control with flying colors. It worked, and would work within the specs it was designed to operate within. After Bill Green Car blended it, cleans it, polishes it... it will work many times better.

The injectors are merely another step toward balancing everything on the motor to work together better.

Why am I not surprised you have a set. Those would be for the pool? Correct?
