Default Important Question hopefully someone can help

Ok, so I finally got those leather seats that were allegedly from a 96 Cutlass 2 door. I go to put in the back seat, and it DOESN'T FIT! The back rest part was close, but it was not perfect, and the seat part definitely was not the right shape. These ARE from a Cutlass, but I think they are from a 4 door, so now I basically have to sell these things or try to find a way of fitting them to my car. I'm sure I could, but I'm still very annoyed.

I know this is a w-body question, but does anyone know if leather seats from a 96 Cutlass 2 door would fit a 94 2 door? I would obviously think so. If they do, then these seats are from a 4 door, and not a 2 door like the guy said they were. The back leather seat I have is the bench seat and has the armrest and the seats that fold down too. I'm kind of thinking that the 2 door models wouldn't have the folding rear seat, but I could be wrong. :?

I also looked at my original 1994 Olds Cutlass Supreme brochure, and the seats I have (more specifically the back seat) are EXACTLY what are pictured in the 4 door model, not the 2 door. The only leather seats that I was aware of that came with the 2 door Cutlass, are rear bucket seats. I'm really confused. I'm going to try to find out from the guy I bought them from if it in fact was from a 4 door.

Well, now I'm not so sure...maybe it'* just a difference in the years. Here is a pic of SSEiMatt93'* Cutty.

They are pretty close. The front seats are the same of course, but the rear seat is a little different. The back rest is slimmer, does not have the folding seats or armrest, or the 'bumps' for the headrest, the bottom of my rear seat curves a bit at the sides, the leather one is a little wider where it should be curved, which is why it is not fitting exactly right. The metal brackets for the back rest are different sizes too, but they line up with the bolts justn fine. I'd have to take pics for you to see the difference.

I'm waiting on a response form the guy to see if they really came from a 2 door...but it is the exact same seat as in Matt'* Cutty :?
