i ran the whole premium gas thing across my parents (lol im only 15 so dont hate) and they said that it probably wont work out... so, im still gonna go for a bonneville, just not a supercharged one. whats the big difference between a se and a sse, is there that big of a performance difference, price difference, mechanical difference, i would appreciate some feedback on this... thanks

premium gas is only $.10 more than regular unleaded, go big or go home, supercharged rules, you wont be let down

If you don't think you can afford premium gas, figure about 1.50 more a fill up max.

The supercharged cars can get better milage on premium, then N/A cars with regular, after a few mods.

that being said 2 purple cars from MN have gotten 40 MPG in Michigan

I think either that car has a maladjusted front headlight, or was hit. I tend to be a cynic, but go with me here. The hood doesn't line up right on the drivers' side, the bumper doesn't line up right with the hood, and the headlight is at a funny angle. Sounds like a smack to me. Plus the rear end has been repainted, without the front being painted (you can look at the vents in the SSE trimmings to see why I think that), The pontiac logo is gone from the rear. And were dual airbags available in 92? Thought that started in 94.....

The dual airbags are standard in ALL SSEi'* and optional in SSE'* until 94 or 95 then they were standard. Thje car had to be hit or they hit something.

And aboyut the badges, again, it does not really matter where its at, fell off, on the bumper. It can be all shaved. But still, if you really want to know if this is an SSE or SSEi check those RPO'*!

I agree with the mileage thing. I get 29-30mpg on the freeway on FAST trips @ 70-75mph with my SSEi. Many SE'* and SSE'* here only get in the neighborhood of 25mpg on similar trips.

Makes up the difference in gas price, I think, and prices are coming down.
