General GM Chat When starting new posts, please specify YEAR, MAKE, MODEL, ENGINE type, and whatever modifications you have made. Chat about all things GM (and related cars). Off-topic stuff should be in the Lounge, and all Model specific mechanical problems should be posted in the proper forum.

I'm being childish.

Gotcha.... Carry on.

Yeah, I don't see Chewy riding to Columbus with me to have work done on the car.

No, your not being childish. You should have heard me last Sept/Oct complaining about not having my car. I bought my car on August 17th, it was back to the dealer the next day, and for the next 2 months they had the car more than me. I think I had the car a total of 4 days out of 2 months I bought the car with 58K on it and got it back with almost 60K. They first gave me a Ford Focus as a loaner. That was a joke, I bitched, then they gave me an Impala. That was okay but I sooooo wanted my Bonneville.

So I know exactly how your feeling...

Its so good to have a place to bitch a little! This is the most recommended shop in the county, so their are supposed to be very good. They are busy, but if I don't get it at the beginning of the week, I think I may blow a gasket!!

Your telling me

Seriously, the fact that you waited a month I think entitles you to blow a gasket.
It usually take my mechanic about a week to get anything done, and I go nuts.

Okay! She'* out of the shop. Shifting fine. $780 total. I thought about letting them have it about it taking so long, but I was more just happy to get her back. It took a few more parts in the rebuild than the performance kit I bought.

I agree with Boosty, $780 is a very good pirce.

And, I am proud of you for not getting on them for having it so long. Although, they totally deserved it, it wouldn't have done any good anyway.
