I was looking for a car to replace our totalled '04 GTO. I told my wife that we could replace it with an '05 GTO, but she said "no!". She had a bad memory of the car being totalled, and didn't want another one. So, I suggested a Bonneville GXP, since she wanted a bigger car with side impact airbags. I also suggested a Hemi Chrysler 300 C, but my wife didn't like the styling.

She is now in love with the Bonneville (it'* her car) and likes it even more that the '04 GTO.

I would steal the GXP from her. Ummm to bad about the GTO those two the GXP and GTO would sure look sweet sitting next to each other... Coulda made an ad! I wouldn't have gotten anything if I wouldn't have saw it, liked it, traded my dads beloved 92 Sedan Deville on it... I do miss my V8 some... But I was in the Bonneville club with out a current Bonneville and always wanted one but never could afford one new so when I found this SLE (stripper) the way I like 'em with the GXP body I couldn't stop myself **my son included** we went for it! I would still have my Deville otherwise. You all know how what goes!

Same here. Looked at a clean black '99. She was sweet but high miles.
Then I looked at a couple S10 ZR2s and 02 Impalas

Now that I have my Bonneville, I don't want to replace it. But if it was totaled, I would probably look into a Trailblazer. I love the styling of these SUVs

I remember several other cars I considered, One was a Grand AM GT but I thought it was girly so I declined it. An Alero but I had zero headroom outta here, and I looked into a Blazer but I knew I would drive fast and it was top heavy ehhh....

When i got my GP GTP, i was actually looking for a 96-99 SSEi and couldnt find one in my area within 450 miles for sale nor could i find one in my price range, so a friend of mine mentioned the GTP, i found one 5 miles from my house, test drove it, loved it, bought it and drove her till i killed her last year, then i knew my 92 was gonna be my next car cause i had been eyeing it for a while cause it was where i bought my 94SSE back from for my mom and i was gonna get it for a second car*project* but then it became my daily driver and for $700.00 with only 154XXX miles on it, i couldnt turn it down, now in a couple of months, i will be shopping for an 01-03 GTP with onstar and a warranty, but i am fixing up my SSEi so that my mom will also have a supercharged car, she gets all my old cars after i fix them up cause i know she will take good care of them, i wanted a 00+ SSEi but there are too many problems that i have read about with those years and instead of going no newer than a 99, i am gonna go with a newer GP to be able to have all the features i want, and a warranty.
