Now I wish I had the $1000. I could buy that Bonneville I want for $350 and I just found a Series2 with a tranny, all working for $200.

If i had $1000... I'd buy the 97 SSEi from canada, and another 93 SSEi and use the rest towards parts for the 97.

**** it, I'm a traitor. i couldn't put all that money to the Bonne. I'd break down and drop it on more wheeling mods for the Jeep

you would definately want the tranny too.
not want to, have to

Anyway, I'd take a crack at an L67 swap.

I don't have a bonnie, but either my STE would get a shiny new Garret GT2871R, or my Trans Am would get a 350....It would actually be a very tough choice.
