Are you talking about those electric turbos that yuo could buy on ebay a couple months ago? The ones that went between the airbox and the throttle body? If so they are a gimmick. They actually disturb the flow of air going in and they really can't bring more in. They talked about them on the Shelby Dodge Mailing List and a couple guys put them on their NA cars and took them to the track. Doing runs with and with-out they actually lost time with the electric turbo'*.

Actually I'm not sure how it works. I asked him if it worked on the same principle as a normal turbo. He kinda fed me some stuff which I either didn't understand or don't remember. But his car is very quick off the line (I had a lot of trouble keeping up).
He did the CAI and a perfromance chip too.
I don't think he bought the turbos on ebay. But I'm not sure. I'll ask him some more questions.

HAHA My buddy across the street is getting one of those. If your not sure what it is, think of a hair dryer. It actually runs off electricity, and has a motor. In my opinion, STEER CLEAR OF THEM.
I've read up on them and they are supposudly nothing but a hassle for some nice $$$'*. Why wouldn't he just get a normal turbo???? Hmm...
