Guess Scott'll switch to an electric water pump soon eh?

No Alt/WP = less drag

Great runs Rogue.
Must have been an exciting day. I can hardly wait for my first run with the Bonne.
As I expected, not that much slower than my 6.6 L Firebird. I'm impressed.

There'* nothing like a little healthy competition....even between Vendors....as long as it stays mature and doesn't degrade to child like behaviour.

I suspect that with stickier tires you could drop another couple of tenths......just have to take it easy so you don't break a spraque or strip a spline in your trani.

I noticed the wheelie bars on the 700 hp monster. That seems to be the trick for real traction with FWD high HP cars.
Did you pump up your rear air shocks at all?

Did you run any AutoTaps during any of your runs? How did you cool down between runs or was there plenty of time between them?

I was pretty nervous on my first runs so i didnt run the atap, one less thing to worry about. I did get one run in towards the end but have not analyzed it yet. I pulled my wheel speed sensors so no torque management and lowered my front tire pressure to 25. I did not jack up the back because I didnt have a jack to get the rear wheel off. There were 4 groups and 7 staging lanes and i would say there was about 20 minutes between runs until the very end when i was hotlapping about every 5 minutes. I was just trying to get the launch down and get some experiance in. The engine was heat soaked and I was pulling 14.4 - 14.7 consitantly. I'm guessing cold and with a good launch I would have been 14 - 14.1.

Did you do a two wheel burn out or a simple tire scrub?

Nothing like a natural high of adrenaline is there
I'll bet you can hardly wait to do it again.

i avoided the water line as much as possible and just scrubed the tires with a quick staba of the gas. Pontiac Nationals is next some time in August i think And yea, I can't wait, almost as hooked as modding the car

Very cool Todd, glad you had a great time. I know how you feel about the nerves and learning the launch. My first time in the ssei (and only) my times were all over the place.
I'm actually going to the track tomarrow, looking forward to it, stereo competition at the track event. I hear there'* a prize for best stereo score and fastest 1/4 combined somehow, I might have a chance.

So your going to wait all the way till August for the next track outing? come on, who are you kidding?
