My guess is that if you pop the trunk you will see a 12-disc changer. When I talked to a salesman awhile back (he'* been selling Pontiacs for almost 20 yrs) and he said he sold a few 1996-1999 SSEi'*, and said he remember'* the first one he saw with a Cassette really made him disappointed, until he read the window sticker with the changer listed. He said all the SSE/SSEi'* with a Cassette deck had a changer from what he remembered.
Don't know how true that is but my friends old 1998 SSE had a factory Cassette deck and 12-disc cd changer.

I once saw a 1995 SLE for sale in Rochester Hills. It had a cassette player and a CD changer. I don't know how many CDs it holded though. It could have been 12, but I don't remember well.

Really? Now why didn't GM put those visors in my car? I have a STOCK CD player and premium sound. GM can be crazy hooligons sometimes.
