Default I was in the worst accident, so my bonnie is gone.

I am saying good bye to the club. I was in the worst accident I have ever been in on wed. My boonie spun out into on coming traffic. The car got folded in two by a 2000 corolla. My passenger seat was cramed beneath the back of my drivers seat. The emt on the scene said I was lucky, he has seen people killed in lesser accidents. I was carted off by ambulance to Geargr Washington hosptial trama unit. I am having back spasms and my face is cut and burned by the air bag deployment. My sound system was destroyed. Maybe when I get over this I will post some pics.

that sounds terrible. I am glad to hear you are ok. I think the bonneville might have had something to do with that.

How did you spin out anyway?

Hey all that matters is that you survived. Everything else can be replaced.

How did the guy in the Corolla fair?

Default well

I was in Rock Creek Park taking a turn when the car started to hydro plane. I regained controlled in the middle of a turn and I over compensated and the car started sppining. I saw the corolla headed for impact. When it struck I remembered nothing. After it struck I was in horrible pain thinking I must get out of the car. I opened the door and laid out in the middle of the street. I was bleeding from my face, the back of my head and my hands. The corolla has front damage, from the pictures it looks pretty extensive. The bonnie on the other hand is done. I remember as I was laying on the pavement the police asked how fast he was going and he said 15 mph and they looked at him and chuckled. He complety destroyed the passenger side, you can actually see frame damage the roof is pushed all the way to drivers side as if I were in a roll over. I my back speakers shot out of the back windo about 15 yards down the road. The claim adjuster was afraid to ask if I was still alive. Man this really pisses me off, but I do need to thankful I am still alive.

Eesh...I relieved to hear that you are OK. Maybe consider another Bonneville. I hope you recover OK.

I lost a friend this year in a single car accident, so I can appreicate the dangers of road travel.

I'm sure your 40th anniversary Bonne did its job in the worst case scenario

I cant stand these sonvabitchs that speed up when you are coming out in front of them. I've been having trouble with my car dieing at idle and I start pulling out in front of cars that had just been released by a stop light about 5 blocks away, plenty of time right?, car almost dies and they speed up... makes me sick. They are just thinking, "ooo oo I will get a new car if I hit them".

I am very glad you are alright. Bonnevilles are excellent for protection.

Godspeed.

Default shiet!

damn cuz, I hate that happend! I know how it feels to be in a wreck! be thankful very thankful your still here. You'll never know how important and beautiful life is until it is almost taken away from you, that'* why after being in a wreck I'm thankful for what I have....... Nothing else seems as important as it used to be; Your not lucky at all, actually your blessed! "lucky" is when you win the lotto or somethin' what happend to you is not "luck" I could not believe in that, not the situation you were in. Take time to heal and relax just because your car is gone doesn't mean you need to go, Tha club is still here for you to be in,

I have been in two accidents, the first one totaled my 95 SE and that airbag probably saved my life. Both times I was thankful that everyone was able to walk away.
