Default I Parted With My Bonnie Today

I was driving through Lock Heaven PA yesterday, when out of the corner of my eye I say this 98 Honda Accord. The dealer was asking $3500.00 for the car. Car is in super nice shape with no rust and has 170,000 miles on it and its an LX model. I talked him down to $3300.00. So I bought the car right on the spot, I couldn't refuse this deal. Super nice car for the price and especially no rust! I ended up selling my Bonneville today for $2300.00 and it cost me an extra $1000.00 for the Bonneville. I'm not leaving the forum, and we still have 2 bonnevilles at home. My brother has a 92 SE, and we have the 91 old body style sitting out in the back yard. The rust is what killed me on this bonneville.

Too bad you traded in the Bonnie. I know lots of members here would have killed for a SC SE....especially one for that price and low miles.

That must be a good picture of you're Bonny because I see no rust. Good luck on your new car. That must be painfully slow compaired to the Bonny. I remember renting a 98' Accord to go out west and it was brutally slow, slower than my old 93' 88 L27 w/ granny gearing. It got good mileage though.

3300 for a 98 Honda no offence but u could have done better for a car with 170k on it.

Yea, the only reason I parted with the car was due to the rust situation. The car was pretty bad on the underside of the vehicle, especially with the engine cradle. The new owner that looked at it said everything looked fine. The only real rust on the body was around the back wheel wells. It wasn't bad, but I don't want to have to worry about the engine cradle dropping out from underneath the car one of these days. I thought that for $3300.00 a V6 LX accord was a good deal. I just bought a motor for it tonight off of ebay for $250.00 with 30k. I plan on driving this car for awhile.
