if you wait you will find one. I assume alberta is a LOT like idaho (other than being a northern neighbor lol) I had been looking for an SSEi for about 2 years, I mean a cheap one under $2000...well it never happened..actually it did happen but you can imagine what happens when you buy a ssei for $500.

in those 2 years I only saw 3 or 4 sseis 92-99 for sale.

either way I gave in and had my car shipped. It has been troublefree, minus the torque converter clutch.....

i cant wait any ammount of time to buy another car, thats the problem, I NEED TRANSPORTATION lol, i cant rely on anyone else or anyone elses cars' to get me around, im far to independant for that.
I may end up getting this 1997, i can talk him way down on his price, and hopefully pay blue book, but these cars dont go for cheap up here.

You can say that again, I always get jealous when I hear people talk about finding SSEis for under$2000, $3000, or even $4000 US!

I found mine for $3300....and as we've seen on the forum, it needed work.

Matt...sounds like both are superclean and very nice, needing almost nothing but go faster mods.

We hope to see you cruising around later this week.

I basically turned down the 2002, they were not willing to put tires on it, and the rear bumper had some paint peel, i cant stand little imperfections like that, just look at how nice my 93 was
1997 looks like it may be the one for me, I have to gather as much information about it as possible and the VIN # so my bank can run a scan on it, I may get to discuss pricing tonight I hope.
Can't wait to take it on a second test drive, I want to check everything on that car, so there is no suprises down the road
