my friends I'll clear this up for U, the front fascia changed in 02 for the SE, NOTHING HAS CHANGED ON THA SLE/SSEi except the wheels (as far as a outside re-design goes) the SE need'ed a little "touch up" so they changed it for 02 the upper models have not changed in apperance though,

I guess I'm one of the minority that prefers the front end and taillights for the 96-99'*...

Personally I would get a 97-99 Bonneville because its quite a bit lighter and cheaper. The new generation looks very nice, but kinda expensive...ok REALLY expensive, especially if you want an SSEi.
