i need your help!
Ok, so bear with me for a moment
I had a 2003 Oldsmobile Alero, car was totalled so I found a guy online who had a 2000 alero body and paid him to have the motor/tranny swapped over.
The 2003 was a 3400 V6, the 2000 was a 2.4 4cyl
Motor, trans, ecu, bcm, wireing harness in the engine bay, throttle cable, all changed over to the 2000 from the 03. The car is keyed from the 2000 so all the locks are the same.
Now, the interesting part. If you turn the car to the "ON" position, the starter kicks on and just keeps going. I disconnected the starter but the damn fuel pump won't come on! To me it feels like something to do with the security system but idk. I think I can wire up the starter on some kind of switch but I need the fuel pump to engage.
In the "ON" position I get ant-lock, security, brake, service engine soon and fuel lights.
Yes, there is gas, and I have a good battery.
I have been on the aleromod forum and have come up with nothing so far. Any help you can give me is much apreciated.

well, i think they are just drawn different. once you look at the ign drawings it seems the power distribution is the same. you check the fp relay for 12v on the control and load side and when you have someone turn the key on you should have 12v and then it would go low when the pcm is priming. it only primes a couple seconds then if the car doesnt start it doesnt run again till you shut the key off
Thank you, I will give that a shot when I get home. Also, I called the gm dealer in my area and he said it sounded like a bad ignition. I have the one from the v6, also I have the bcm from the 2.4 plugged in. So ecu-V6, bcm-2.4, ignition right now is 2.4 but plan on swapping it to v6 when I get home as well. Should I find a v6 bcm to put in as well? I have the original but it is electrical tapped together so I'm not confident its in good shape
Alright, so thanks to a gentleman on the alero forum the car runs and drives. He had a similar problem with the same exact swap. 03 v6 into 00 2.4. He had me put the v6 fuse block in, and jump a plug under the dash by the obd sensor. No headlights and one high beam no but she runs
