Default I need ur input

I have a new delemia. here is it
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
get some perf parts for my n/a bonny =1.85-1.8 rockers/throttlebody/pcm
or
get a couple perf parts that I can reuse on the new motor i might buy and i can also use on this motor= 1.9 rockers/pcm
or
just save for the */c 3800 motor its only 1500 and wait for my motor to get some problems and then install the */c 'd one
or
just keep the thing running and save my money and get a 87 montecarlo SS ( dream car that i used to own.)

heheh

Well, if it was me, I'd just save up for a supercharged motor. On your car I think it would be worth it.. Its a '99, fully loaded, all decked out the way you want it already, already has a 4T65E, etc... Swapping in a L67 should be a snap! Alot easier than doing it in our 95'* anyways :( Thats just my .02 but I think once you get all that stuff for your N/A motor, and get it all going, your gonna test drive a friends GTP or SSEi or something, and wish yours was supercharged. :(

Save up for the */c motor, buy it, then build it up before you even put it in the car. Cam, Nose Drive, Pulley, etc. etc. etc. would all be a BREEZE if the motor wasnt in the car yet.

One thing I would suggest though... Dont just go buy a motor, your gonna need more than that. See if you can buy an entire front clip.. I'm talking L67 motor, 4T65E-HD Tranny, Wiring Harnesses, Computer, Halve-Shafts, Etc.... I've gotten prices on complete front clips and they are roughly 2500, so youd def be better off.

Only other thing you might want to consider, is stripping your car back down to stock, selling it on e-bay since its still pretty new and worth some coin still, and finding a nice black identical '99 SSEi to replace it. You might have to fork over a couple thousand for the difference but it would be well worth it and no headaches of a swap.

Just my suggestions for ya, it all comes down to how involved you want to get

If I was you I would wait for the sc engine. If I really like the 90 that I have, I might try and add the sc engine to it.
If you get the parts for this engine, in a few months or so you will still want the sc engine.
So instead of spending more money than needed, just be patient and get what you wnat the first time around. But that'* just my 0.02.
Hope this helps a bit.

I would swap out for the L67 engine and then take of the Eaton M90 and swap it in for a turbo/intercooler system which would be more effecient and make more power. I can help you out with the turbo part of the equation. When I get my website up you will see.

I would probably just save and swap the SC motor and trans.

Thats what I am planning to do on my 89 bonne once i get a job and get settled after college. I need to have another car first so I can have the current one out of commission for a couple of months while i build the motor and mate it to the car.
