ya but the reason I want to do this is becuase I can fix it up over time. I don't have the money to go out and buy a series 2 ssei.

Brady...

More info on why it doesn't run etc?

Sure you have your parts car. And $400 looks good....
94 is good for coated rotors

94 could be improved,
air flow ... you can't control it.
You already have one parts car...do you need a second?

Now..if you can fix it and sell for say $1000-$1500 then you've increased your money pot for a future investment.

Dude, stop. Seriously. You need to stop buying old cars that don't run, even if they are Bonnevilles. Where are you going to put all of them? Drive your SLE until some day when you have a great paying carreer job, then buy your dream car -in running condition! You can spend your life rebuilding old cars, but if you're going to do it, do it to something like a gull-wing Mercedes or a classic GTO musclecar that will be *worth* something when you're done.

My $0.02.

Unless I need more parts for my car, then buy it so you can part out another one?

I agree...hit it.

Even if you bought just for parting it out you would make that 400 back in no time.

Even though most vote for buy it, I don't think I"m going to. I don't feel like buying a non running car and spending money to get it running.

I'm thinking of just saving like 5g'* or so and buying a really nice series 1 ssei.

EDIT: For example, this one http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/car/159204247.html

However I have owned a $100 dollar bonneville before and the $500 SSEi before....If I saw any 3800 car that ran or had a good trans for under $500 I would ****** it up in and instant
