the newer cup holders aren't bigger. but I gotta say I would rather have them than mine

you cant merely switch just the shift plate or cup holders to the new style... they are designed completely different

I have the cup holders that willren has... they are awesome. They are like 2 bucks at checker.

Thanks Haro, that is just what info I was looking for, perhaps a trip tot he yard for a complete unit is on order.... I do not have a place to mount the "freestanding" holders to the side of the console and I think the bigger holders were put in the 2002+ cars.

the pics i just showed you were the difference between 00-02 & 03-05... if you are looking to change it only for the 1/4" of bigger cup holder, i honestly dont think its worth it.
