I love the UPS guy...
...because he just dropped off three big boxes. Wonder what they could be?
How 'bout 4 Brembo rotors and a full set of Hawk Performance ceramic pads?

Sorry, I'll get pics as soon as possible, but I'm having a problem.
Even with the aid of an entire can of WD-40 and a 5' helper pipe, I can NOT get the stupid caliper bolts loose!
No way am I paying $90 an axle to have some other schmuck do the labor though.
I'll attack it again tomorrow. I had to knock off when we got a brief T-storm here.

Blood seems to work better then WD-40!!!!!!
A buddy brought over some good stuff. First...WD40 never works that good.
This stuff is PB breakaway or something like that. White can...black and yellow writing. Spray on and within a minute or two it ready to go. I was amazed and I've used it all.

PB Blaster, bud. A few minutes usually wasn't long enough.. I let it sit overnight.. worked a whole lot better.. trust me, you will need all the help you can get with these old cars
. They seem to fight back, unlike new ones..

Yup, use PB Blaster or Aerokroil. The later is very good stuff. Hard to find, but well worth it. Let those bolts sit at least overnight, once they've been coated.
Also, instead of immediately trying to loosen them, try tightening the bolts. I've had lots of success with trying to tighten an already very tight bolt, before trying to loosen it. Seems to work well.
