my friends dad is a state trooper and he said that he has pulled people over that he knew jsut to screw with them. The state trooper probably knew the local cop really well to tell him to do that...

I can believe something like this happened. There'* enough people like that in MN to make it believable.

Sauk Center is a small town. Roughly the size of your average 1 bedroom apartment. I'm not at all doubtful or suprised that
A. They knew about his car in a small town like that or
B. They were bored or friendly enough to want to kill some time

Cops are just people, some are cool, some ain't.

The engine feels more responsive too.

Tofu, put some angel eyes behind those doors, and that would be sweet when they opened up!

It'* too bad cops here are bored too, but they stop ppl to ticket them for BS. It would be nice if they were cool like in MN.

Yeah, The cops knew I've done some modding. Obviously the Magnaflow with the tips really barked with the gas pedal at almost any position, and then I am sure they've seen me doing burnouts, but they don't really bother me as they know I'm not out to cause trouble. The population in Sauk Centre is right at 3400 so it'* not all to big of a town. Still a farming community.
The main set of stop lights in town is only one block away from the the police station so they can pretty much see who gets the jump on all the street races there. The only locals that I see them pull over are the dope dealers in their jacked up 70'* Caddies and stuff like that. I've also let them kow I'm sick of the losers who hang around downtown and all they do is harrass the girls and try to pick fights with guys (they are anywhere from 16 yo to their late 20'* -can I say LOSERS). I mainly got ticked when I brought a girl from 35 miles away into Sauk Centre for the first time when we were dating and the first thing she said was "where are the losers that harass and assualt girls and try to pick fights with guys?" -Her exact words. That really pissed me off. Then about two weeks later I was downtown on my way home from the Fitness Guru Center with my windows down and the sunroof open driving by the losers hanging out in the usual place when I heard "F'off". That was all I needed. I hit my brakes as hard as I could, threw the car in Park at about 10 mph and was half way out of the car by the time the car stopped (I was madder than a bull who had just been branded), leaving aprked in the middle of Main street on a Friday evening blocking traffic. I started running toward them as fast as I could, but when I got about 20 feet away from them a car swung around in front of me, blocking the "losers" off. I was about to run around the car when two cops jumped out and one grabbed me and told me to leave, (they had been parked across the road about 1/4 block away and heard them yell at me) and proceeded to give all the loser'* fine'* for harrassing public, and two of them had to go to court for assaulting a peace officer as two of them threw punchs at the police. Anyhow, to make a long story short, none of the losers can hang out down town or if caught loitering they will be subject to a $250 fine and possibly jail time. I personally have heard of them getting in fights about a dozen times, once they even got in a fight with some big biker dudes and two of the little ****** got broken bones.
Feel free though, to come to Sauk Centre and visit now as it is much nicer now as the cops have really cracked down on loitering (they don't really bother people cruising, just mainly people they see loitering in parking lots after dark).

Enough bandwith wasted here,
TTYallL,
Stylez
