Like I said... I just laughed.

They don't even keep them around. They told me that they just take the engine to the scrap pile. He was telling me a line of bull that some guy had to replace his L67 after only 25k miles. It was covered by the GM warranty, but then the replacement failed 8k miles later. He paid the dealership to put in another replacement that failed after 9k miles and is currently sueing the dealership for his losses. Now that'* some kind of BS. They said that the failure that caused each engine to go was the */C... LOL. The strongest part on that engine is the */C!!! I just let him ramble on, me just nodding my head and laughing inside (with a smirk on my face). I couldn't look him in the face or I would have started laughing. I'm sure that if I could have egged him on he would be telling me stories about how crappy the 350 is, LOL. There is no pleasing those people. They thing that they see 2 failed engines and immediately those engines are labelled as a P.O.*. Its incredible.

You owe people like that two things. First, you should try your best to change their minds. See if you can't plant the RIGHT opinion (lol, that'* a little arrogant...) in their head. Give it your best college try, complete with documentable facts and everything else, so they can't disagree without being wrong. HelI, everyone deserves a chance to redeem themselves, even 'idiots' If they don't agree with you after that? **** 'em... at least you tried your best to change their minds. If they can't listen to reason... that'* their problem

Don't bother trying to change their minds. Dodge needs these people to keep driving their brand.

Got a HEMI????? I don't...but I keep eating them with my 2000 Chevy Silverado Ext 8 foot bed 5.3 STOCK 285hp.

Dunno why a brand new 345hp Dodge can't pass me? lol 10 gallons to the mile POS.

Why not try and change their minds? As I said, every person deserves to be given a chance to change their own minds. The point is, they probably won't listen anyway, if I am correct in inferring what kind of people these bumpkins are, and then you can have the piece of mind of saying "Well, at least I tried to teach these yokels the right thing..."

It'* very easy to blow an l67 up. All it takes is a dealer being careless and flashing an l67 with an l36 (n/a) code and the 30 degrees of timing will smoke em every time. My guess is something similar happened to the individual with 3 motors in 35k miles. Or maybe the guy ran 87 octane all the time...

No motor is bullet proof, but properly taken care of these motors will last quite a long time, as we all know.
