Is he gone? Somehow I doubt he has been banned already. I don't understand why people with no interest whatsoever, show up on a board like this and sitr up ****. Its baffling.

The forum is pretty clearly marked. Bonnevilleclub...oh well, some of our members do drive other cars and thats great, but at least they make constructive comments, have respect for everyone.

This little 4 banger bastard drives me nutz. I was thinking, remember that guy Bonneville420 or some ****, kept posting about how unhappy he was with his car and raved on and on...he was banned twice I think (I remember 2 user names). Maybe he bought a riced out 4 cylinder turbo and decided to come back and stir up more ****.

***....unless this persons comments become more constructive, I suggest blocking, or just ignore him. People like that love negative attention. If we stop, they evantually go away :?

Yeah, you're right. Ignoring 'em pisses them off the most.

hey, im not here to hate on your cars, i own a '95 bonneville SE and that is all, the 4 cyl. turbo was HYPOTHETICAL!!! i have nothing against bonnevilles or pontiacs for that matter, i love my car. I just can't stand people who try and find excuses for why they lost a race, just admit you dont own the fastest car in the world and even some hondas can beat it.

Enough from both sides. There is gonna be a day when each of you will forget about arguing over cars and just respect each individual for doing what they do with a passion.

That'* an ambitious thought...but I don't think it will be happening within our life time, friend.
On another funnier note (and don't take it the wrong way) but I had a dream about "you" today LOL (don't eat before you go to bed) there was you and Murdock and I and Jim and a couple other people and it was a Bonneville meet. I don't know what you look like but anyway the guy came up and said it was you and he had a Beige (Champagne) Bonneville LOL then i wanted to change my shirt so I left everyone and spent all day looking for one and by the time I was done and came back, everyone had left LOL
Kinda weird but thought I'd share that to make you laugh lol

Yeah, I kinda know how it feels. Last week when I was cruisin in Alexandria after I got off work this kid in a 1990'ish Honda Civic notchback with the tinted windows, over the hatch mounted spoiler, rims, projector beam lamps, and the classic Folgers can pulled up next to me.
I had been running my stereo, and had my fan on high so my temp guage was showing around 225 and my voltage guage was sitting just above red in the 9 volts range.
Anyhow, I recognized the kid that was with him, and right away he started revving his engine.
Well, when the light turned green we both took off, but i wasn't taking off as fast as I should have due to the temp and volts really causing my engine to bog down really bad.
But he got about 6 inches on me at the initial take off (his reaction time versus mine), but otherwise we were holding even,,,, until he went to hit 2nd gear at about 25 mph (which calculates his revs to about 8,000 rpm). But when he went for second all I heard was gears making undesirable contact. He had mis-shifted, even so I was starting to get my volts back into the 11-12 range and so I was already pulling away.
Later when I hit the basketball court the kid that I had seen riding in the Civic showed up.
He said the Civic would whoop me anyday if the driver would hit the gears correctly, cause "... he has a 'spoon' engine in it....". I kinda snickered to myself and thought ".. yeah, and I've got a 'scoop shovel' engine when the temps and volts are in the proper neighborhood".
Anyhow, this last weekend I had 6 people in my car and I pulled up next to the same Civic again and asked if he wanted to race his car with only him in it against my car with 4 guys and 2 girls in it. He laughed and asked if I was really looking to get embarrassed, and me and the rest of the guys laughed and the girls got smirks on their faces. Anyhow, this time even though the car was loaded beyond legal approval the engine temp and volts were perfect.
As soon as the light turned green all you could hear was my tires light up and start screaming while his kind of chirped. I looked over after about 3-4 seconds and saw his front bumper sitting even with my back wheels and keep dropping back further. By the next light I had 2-3 car length'* on him. He hit his brakes and made a quick left turn into a gas station.
Naturally it felt great, but it really made it even better when we pulled into a parking lot and when we got out of the car both of the girls that had been riding in with us got out of the back seat and both kissed me on both cheeks at the same time just as the Civic drove by.
Fun!!!
Don't worry, your day will come, especially with a SSEi.

I'm unlocking this to inform you guys of a little investigation on my part.....and to tell you I'm solving the problem. This Bobmarley420 character goes way back. You guys remember that blithering idiot that won a Bonneville in a drag race? His username was 'free bonny'. Yup. Same guy as bobmarley420, twosm00th420, twosm00th421 (both of which I banned last month), hotbonnie, and ponniebonnie.

All the same guy.

Takin' care of business on this right now. I'll leave this unlocked and see if he sneaks in again. I have a couple tricks to prevent it.

I had mentioned in a thread that marley420 reminded me of twosmooth and all of those other aliases.
I had wondered if it was the same idiot...looks like my hunch was correct
I'm glad you go onto this Bill
