Car payments are no fun so I say you made a good choice if that is your reasoning. I haven't had any for over four years now and it is very relaxing. Ahhhhhhhh.
That being said, I'd really like a 2002 WS6 T/A! Maybe car payments wouldn't be so bad!!!

There are sentimental values in my car, too many good times in that car...

After all, why replace a perfectly running car that hasn't failed me so far?
