Default I did it

I followed willren'* Techinfo on MAF & throttle body cleaning and cleaned my MAF sensor and screen. Thanks Willren. It was easy.. I did remove some black stuff off the sensor filiment thingys..I also cleaned my K & N filter.
What can I expect to gain from doing this?

Question: I oiled my filter and didn't want to over oil it. What would be wrong with UNDER oiling it?

Throttle body cleaning seemed too complicated for me today, so I didn't attempt it.
I would have taken pics, but I can't find the camera..

Under oiling will not be overly bad. The oil traps dirt and things on the filter material.

Do this.. spray the filter with oil.. Lightly.. let it sit for a few hours.. the oil will spread on the surface and soak in.. if when you come back the surface doesn't appear to have a slight coloration to it..spray with a lighter coat and you should be good to go.

Where do you get oil in a spray form? Do you refer to WD40 or something Bill?

I purchased the K&N filter cleaning kit. It comes with a pump spray cleaner and an aerosol spray oil. It has a red color to it so you know when it is covered enough.
$14.00, but will last for a very long time
