So I come out today and there'* a nice mark on my new 17" 2003 Bonneville wheels. Looks to me like someone had a screwdriver and was going into remove my center cap (for whatever reason) and ended up scraping off some chrome. Below is a picture....

Is there any way to fix this without getting a new wheel?

You should be able to replace the center cap by it'* self. Post in the wanted section with a picture of the cap you want to a link to this thread for the picture here. I'd be willing to bet someone would sell a set for a good price.

Well thats sucks.
but hey. Thats a lot better then a broken window, Key marks down the side of the car, or other things like dents and stuff.

So far everyone has told me they'd have to be re-dipped, which would be worthless I can get a new rim for less, but uhh..the collision place I went to said they know only very few wheel guys work with chrome, he made it out to be like someone might be able to do something...does anyone know of any procedure that would at least seal up the opening and make it look somewhat decent?
