So whats the weapon of choice? Bat, Maybe a nice Craftsman torque wrench..... Or possibly some nice shiney wrenches to chuck at him...LOL

If that torque wrench is undamaged I'll take it. I'd be happy to take it off my christmas list and put something better on there...like subs

would it be a big deal or hurt anything if i bought what he did and just not have a heat shield untill i was able to buil done? what will not having a heatshield hurt? yeah ur sucking in hot air but will that hurt performance much more then the stock setup?

Naw you can get by just fine without a heatshield, you just won't see that big of a gain.

The way I figure, it'* winter anyways, just do the heatshield in the spring before it gets hot outside.

I don't think you have much to worry about in the winter months. The warm air will reduce performance somewhat. In the winter it'* so cold out anyways that I don't think it'd make much a difference at all.
