LOL~!!!!

if anyone had seen me do what i just did...they would still be laughing...

i got the mirror off somehow...

after looking at it from outside the car...i decided that i needed to squeeze the clip in...

i took out a folding plyers and went at it...

somehow the mirror slipped off and the plyers SMOKED me in the head

nice big red mark on my forehead, along with a huge smile for having the mirror in my hands...

thanks guys

Looking at your pic though, they look like simple spring retainers. I think if you slide the mount UP, it should just slide off. Might take a bit of umph though, so be careful.

If that doesn't work, try fiddling with the two little slots on either side, they look like they were made to accept a flat-head(A screwdriver, I mean, not your own personal cranium. ).
joke...

anywho...lemme go work on it a bit more...

i really dont feel like cracking a $1200 windshield in the cold though
Mean $415 windshield?

Nope. HUD windshields are different from the ones without the HUD. $1200 is actually lower than what I got quoted: $1350.

I always like to buy used... I found one for $400 and they threw in the rest of the car...

Good job with the mirror. Now post a pic of you "Mark of Excellence" or else...

I know HUD windshields are more but ya'll are crazy to pay that much. I was quoted $415 for mine to be replaced. Which reminds me......
